Fresh Salsa

                                                                     ♥ fresh salsa ♥

I had some fresh cilantro in the refrigerator that was quickly becoming not so fresh, so I rescued some and made lunch. YUM! I love fresh salsa! I was sad though, that I didn't have an avocado to mash and add to it, but there is always next time.☺

I don't know that there are any hard, fast rules or recipes to making fresh salsa. I think you basically go by your taste buds and what you have on hand. This is what I had and it was delicious!

2 cups chopped tomatoes
½ green pepper, chopped
1 small-medium onion
hot pepper ( I used hot pepper flakes)
salt
lime juice
fresh cilantro
fresh parsley
chili powder
vinegar
garlic powder
cumin

Chop veggies and add desired amounts of all the rest and enjoy! I finished mine off today.☺

Be Blessed!

  5. Sounds delicious! Unfortunately, my husband doesn't like cilantro, so I don't use it in any recipes! Waaaaahhhhhhh!!!

  7. Thank you so much for your sweet comment about my screened in sun-room that Susan featured today for her Metamorphosis Monday.
We've enjoyed our little room so much this summer minus the bugs and the baking sun! Plus I can go in and change it up every once in a while to suite my mood and or season!
    Thanks again,
