Surgery...
Sitting through a long surgery at Mercy in Baltimore. Praying for steady hands for the surgeon and a successful outcome for my Father-In-Law. Happy for him that he gets to have the option for surgery. Inviting you to join in our prayers for healing with us.
So to pass the time I'm thinking about food, of course. :) If someone could stop in with a Fiesta Chicken Burger with Pepper Jack, tomato, bacon strips, and guacamole i would certainly not chase you away. I would be happy to meet you at the door :) Something with chocolate would be grand as well. Haha
Thanks for taking time to stop in. Hope your day is going well!
I pray The Lord guides the surgeon's hands for a successful outcome! It's hard in the waiting time. That burger would be really tasty!...

Thank you, Leslie.
DeleteI'm praying, too! Surgery days are long, aren't they? Wish you lived close,...I'd bring you a burger and one for me, too! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Betsy. :) things are going well, but yes, 12 hours is long to wait. I'm sure you would bring me the burger if you could :) maybe I can concoct one when I get home and life slows down s bit :)
DeleteSending good thoughts & prayers for your father-in-law.
ReplyDeletePraying that the surgery went well!! Oh, that burger sounds yummy!
ReplyDeletechecking in...hope today was a good day for everyone!
ReplyDeleteToday was busy but good. Hosted the Youth Valentine Party here tonight. Lots of fun but so tired after the long day yesterday. Surgery was something like 13 hours long with some difficult news at the end. Some good news too though. The tumor was much much bigger than anyone anticipated and involved quite a few organs. Hoping for s somewhat quoted day tomorrow.
