French Quarter Cheese
If you want something quick and scrumptious to serve to Holiday guests but still want it to be impressive you might want to try this. This is another recipe that I got from my sister Becky.☺ Like I said before, simple or gourmet, she is a queen! ☺
*This is best if you make it about 3 days ahead.*
1 - 8 ounce pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon grated onion
Combine in a small mixing bowl and mix well. Spread on a pretty serving plate and refrigerate.
Cook together:
4 tablespoons butter
¼ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
½ teaspoon prepared mustard
¾ cup chopped pecans
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan until butter melts. Cool. Spread cooled nut mixture over chilled cheese. Serve at room temperature with crackers of your choice. 10-12 servings
It's Fantastic! Try it sometime! ☺
